Diabetes - Controlled or Reversed...Is It Possible? - YES!!!!!!!!!!
Many diabetics can eliminate or greatly reduce the medications they take to control blood sugar by applying the nutrition knowledge we share.
The most common type of diabetes (type II) is a condition where the transporting of sugar molecules from the blood into a cell is not normal, this is called insulin resistance, causing blood sugar to stay too high... leading to weight gain, heart disease, and numerous other serious problems.
What increases the risk factors for developing diabetes?
1. Race or ethnicity—diabetes is more prevalent in Hispanics, African-Americans, Native Americans, and Asians.
2. Being 20% or more overweight.
3. Hypertension (high blood pressure).
4. Abnormal cholesterol levels. Low HDL or "good" cholesterol level under 35 mg/dL and/or a triglyceride level over 250 mg/dL increases your risk of diabetes.
5. Age. Your risk of developing diabetes increases progressively as you get older.
6. Use of certain drugs: Blood pressure medicines, Steroid medicines, Hydantoin medicines, Medicines for transplant recipients
7. Alcohol Use. Years of heavy alcohol intake increases your risk of developing diabetes.
8. Smoking increases incidence of diabetes.
9. History of gestational diabetes (developing diabetes during pregnancy)
10. History of delivering babies over nine pounds.
11. Autoimmune disease. Your body's defense system (immune system) attacks healthy insulin-producing beta cells in your pancreas...contributing to diabetes.
12. Viruses. Some viruses are thought to damage the pancreas.
13. Parasites. Some parasites are thought to damage the pancreas.
Many of the above risk factors show that diabetes is correlated to stress. Mechanical devices of all types (even bio-mechanical devices like cells and pancreas) will break down over time from stress... unless the stresses are counterbalanced with excellent nutritional maintenance.
Lets show you how to ”maintain” your body so sugar processing systems work well. But, first let’s make sure you have an understanding of physical stress factors.
Sugar and carbohydrates. A major insulin processing stress comes from refined carbohydrates. Cutting down on “ the white stuff”: bread, potatoes, rice and sugar: doughnuts, soda, candy — will reduce this stress greatly... and is paramount. Without curtailing intake of sugar and simple carbohydrates you aren’t going to reverse type II diabetes.
Body fat and triglycerides. Fat circulating the blood creates insulin resistance... requiring the release of more insulin which actually creates more fat and triglycerides (insulin is a fat storing hormone). Eventually, depending on your pancreas strength (heredity) and amount of fat and triglycerides in your body, the pancreas cannot output enough insulin to overcome the resistance — and sugars circulate in the blood without getting into the cells — which is, of course, the condition of diabetes. Eating foods that reduce blood lipids helps reduce this kind of stress.
Lack of needed nutrients. Numerous micro-nutrients (calcium, vanadium, chromium, lipoic acid, B-vitamins, etc.) are needed to be present in order for normal pancreatic function and normal cellular response to insulin. When these nutrients are not sufficiently supplied by the diet, the body’s sugar processing systems don’t work properly. This has a circular effect... the blood sugar doesn’t get into the cells... sugar rises, causing an increased stimulation for production of insulin and for fat storing mechanisms to be activated to get sugar out of the blood... which feeds the diabetes and fat storing cycles again.
Foreign interference from chemical, viral, fungal, bacterial and parasitic infections both weaken the pancreas and interfere with it’s normal functioning.
Autoimmune system malfunction. Misidentified proteins can ultimately cause autoimmune attacks on the pancreas contributing to lessened insulin production and diabetes. The simplified version of how this happens is that incompletely digested food results in numerous proteins and other chemical compounds that appear as foreign molecules to the body’s immune system. This puts the autoimmune system into an alert stage that may lead to autoimmune attacks on normal body cells, such as the pancreas. If these incomplete protein cells were not there in the first place, the confusion would not occur. So, keeping the human system internals “clean” is a primary defensive tactic.
Alternative health practitioners have successfully used natural methods to combat diabetic stress factors and rebuild pancreatic tissue strength and reduce insulin resistance.
Thousands of case histories from the archives of the Advanced Center for Medicine (Encinitas, California) suggest that the following high-tech nutritional supports are highly beneficial for controlling and reversing diabetic conditions by assisting with reducing stresses above. Please keep in mind that these are foods and natural methods of dealing with root causes. They are not drugs and do not work quickly. Your time to learn about these nutritional aids will be well worth it:

RiSoTriene — Greatest Natural Aid for Diabetes Yet Discovered!
Eating a spoonful of RiSoTriene four times a day provides terrific results for many diabetics, stabilizing and lowering blood sugar levels significantly, often dramatically.
RiSoTriene is a powdered, water-soluble, stabilized, rice germ & bran. Eating RiSoTriene has a stabilizing effect on blood sugar and often helps reduce insulin resistance.
"By adding RiSoTriene to the daily regiment, over a period of a few months to a year, many diabetics have completely weaned themselves off of medications." - Dr. Drucker, Center for Advanced Medicine, Encinitas California; "If a diabetic can only afford one natural therapy, RiSoTriene has our recommendation."
The process for unlocking the health promoting powers of the germ and bran of rice was perfected in 1997 after twenty years of efforts to disable the enzyme that causes rancidity without using high temperature. The Advanced Center for Medicine has been using this food to clinically treat over 10,000 patients for the past ten years.
RiSoTriene is not a medicine. However, it’s numerous nutrients help reduce lipids in the blood (that trap insulin), which is especially important for type 2 diabetics, and prevent the adherence of fatty tissues to arterial walls, help heal lesions and promote antioxidant activity throughout the body so that tissues can heal and cells can be protected from free-radical damage.
Studies regarding stabilized rice bran (RiSoTriene)
Researchers report that that study of a low dose of stabilized rice bran over a period of two months has been able to lower blood sugar by 30% in both type 1 and type 2 diabetics. and that RiSoTriene lowered cholesterol and triglycerides by 5% to 15%.
"... data from this clinical trial indicates that supplementing the diet with products derived from specially processed stabilized rice bran derivatives may help lower blood sugar levels in both Type I and Type II diabetics by as much as 30%," said Dr. Barbara Levine, Director of the Human Nutrition Program at Cornell Medical College and Rockefeller University.
“While not all of the subjects were able to reduce their hyperglycemic medications, all of the subjects were able to maintain a lower blood glucose level on these regimens as compared to their respective placebo groups," said Dr. Asaf Qureshi of the University of Wisconsin.
“In random studies conducted by Diabetes Resource Center, Inc., the use of stabilized rice bran solubles as a daily dietary supplement has helped stabilize blood glucose levels and as well as the amount of insulin needed in both type I and type II diabetics” (Corlett, 1997).
Lipoic acid, a constituent of rice germ and bran, is very well-known for its liver-enhancing properties as well as regulation of the bodily energy. It stabilizes blood sugar levels and reduces glycation - the damage done to the body by excess sugar (Sahelian, 1998.) In Europe, Lipoic acid has been used for nearly thirty years to regulate blood sugar and prevent diabetic retinopathy and cardiopathy.
Several patents and allowable claims exist for RiSoTriene

With diabetes, two particular trace minerals are especially important in sugar metabolism. These trace minerals are vanadium and chromium. Also, the well known minerals magnesium and calcium are essential to cellular energy processes.
When seeking to supply your body with the minerals that your body needs do not make the mistake of getting isolated mineral supplements. The body needs a concert of minerals... not a single or even a few single minerals. Perhaps, the greatest nutritional discovery that has occurred in our lifetimes is that we need balanced nutrition.
Where do we go to ensure adequate mineral intake?
The sea provides the answer by giving us the greatest banquet of minerals on earth. Since shallow sea water is polluted, we go to deep sea water... the zone of regeneration, that cold water, thousands of feet deep where pollution does not penetrate...
Recently, a scientific project off the coast of Hawaii has allowed deep ocean water to be brought to the surface. This water hasn’t been near the surface in over a millennium. It is free of pollution and is extraordinarily rich in ionized minerals within the expired bodies of plankton and diatoms. University of San Diego studies have proven their rapid and complete assimilation in the blood stream.
The combination of RiSoTriene and Deep Sea Minerals is unbeatable for improving cellular utilization of sugar and lowering insulin resistance.
Like RiSoTriene, Deep Sea Minerals is a recent discovery that only now is getting significant attention. We recommend it highly.

Suffice it to say here that dirty digestive organs produce thousands of partially digested proteins and other chemicals that trigger autoimmune misidentifications, that may result in attempts to destroy the body’s own tissues and organs.

April 10, 2002 -- Diabetics may have a new weapon to help them lower their blood sugar levels. Rice bran was able to lower blood glucose by up to 30% in a small group of patients with type 1 or 2 diabetes participating in a pilot study.
Researchers report that one out of four diabetics taking part in the 57-subject study were able to reduce their daily injection of insulin or medication dosages after adding stabilized rice bran to their diets for just two months. The findings were reported in the March issue of the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry.
"These are preliminary findings, and they need to be duplicated in a larger group of patients taking rice bran as a nutritional supplement for longer periods," says lead researcher Asaf A. Qureshi, PhD. "But in this study, rice bran proved to be very good at lowering blood glucose levels."
Qureshi and colleagues at Advanced Medical Research in Madison, Wis., also found that patients with elevated cholesterol who consumed 20 grams per day of stabilized rice bran lowered their total serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels between 5% and 15%.
The rice bran formulations evaluated by the researchers are manufactured by the California nutraceutical company NutraStar Inc. In company literature, rice bran is touted as "the most nutritious food on earth," and NutraStar markets its four rice bran products for a host of conditions including arthritis, constipation, and joint problems.
But the diabetes research is the first human trial to offer scientific evidence of rice bran's benefit. Studies have shown that eating a high-fiber diet lowers blood sugar levels, but the water-soluble rice bran that worked best in the study was not high in fiber.
Nutritionist Barbara Levine, RD, PhD, agrees that larger trials are needed to confirm the study's findings. But she says that the promising early findings are intriguing. Levine is director of the Human Nutrition Program at New York's Rockefeller University.
Levine cited findings from the ongoing Framingham Heart Study showing that obese people with type 2 diabetes have a 99% chance of developing heart disease. The CDC now estimates that 35 million Americans have diabetes.
"Right now there is very little out there for diabetics, other than medication," she says. "There is an epidemic of diabetes in this country, and it is largely linked to the epidemic of obesity. The most important thing diabetics can do is keep their weight under control and eat appropriate foods. But if soluble rice bran can help, I'm all for it."

HERE'S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FEET
1. Wash them daily and dry thoroughly between the toes.
2. Wear well-ventilated shoes. Make sure they fit. Avoid pointy styles and other toe-crushers.
3. Wear socks made of synthetics that draw moisture away from your skin. Cotton is not as good.
4. If your feet sweat a lot, try an antiperspirant on them.
5. Cut toenails short and straight across. It's okay to apply nail polish to cover up the discolored nail.
6. If you do have toenail fungus, gently remove debris from under the nail with an orange-wood stick (used for manicures) once a week.
7. Go barefoot and/or wear sandals when you can; preferably inside for going barefoot. Fungi thrive in dark, wet places. (Inside shoes)
8. If you share pedicure tools with your family, wash and disinfect the tools (dip them in alcohol) after use. If you go to a nail salon, make sure the tools are disinfected or bring your own.
Diabetic Testimonials
Dr. Mark Drucker, M.D. and Director for the Advanced Center for Medicine in Encinitas, California, states, "With the help of RiSoTriene, we have also been able to stabilize our diabetic patients. After only two weeks, most are able to reduce their dosages of insulin or oral diabetic medication by fifty percent. In four to eight weeks, many Type II diabetics are able to reduce or discontinue their oral medication."
Dr. David Nelson, N.D., co-host, Health Talk, A Second Opinion, states about RiSoTriene, “...we have athletes using this product as well as individuals with hypoglycemia and diabetes... RiSoTriene works by regulating insulin and blood sugar levels...We have diabetics on the product who are experiencing tremendous results. Once their blood sugar and body chemistry are more balanced, their insulin requirements often drop.”
Dr. George Kelly, Nutritional Counselor, Forensic Physician, states “The most remarkable effects I've seen have been in patients with diabetes. RiSoTriene can have a profound influence on the stabilization of their blood sugar so that, when they go back to their doctors, in many cases they end up needing less insulin.
I'm not saying this product cures diabetes, but the impact it has on the body's biochemistry is tremendous. It's not a miracle cure, an herbal product, or a stimulant. It's a "natural" whole food that gives the body what it needs. RiSoTriene consists of perfect chains of essential fatty acids, trace minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants, which because they're in perfect ratio, are absorbed into the body - not as bits and pieces, but as whole organic structures. These structures then repair different organ systems on the cellular level. They start working again!“
Sunjua K., a long term diabetic, reports “My diabetes has been raging out of control for the last three years. My background in health food has led me to want to find natural solutions to my health problems. I have owned a health food restaurant, health food store, and the largest cooperative health food warehouse in the country. No matter how many remedies I tried over the last three years - everything from taking vitamins to doing martial arts - I still found that my blood sugar level was too high. Right after I started taking RiSoTriene, I noticed major change in my blood sugar level. Every day I record my blood sugar reading in a little book, and all of my readings before taking this product were in the 200s to 400s, which is very high. The day after I took RiSoTriene for the first time, my blood sugar reading was 164! I've noticed that when I take RiSoTriene faithfully , my blood sugar stays at a more normal level.”
Ruby Ferguson states “I have diabetes and used to have very high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I was so tired all the time that I had to rest ten to twenty minutes every few hours at work. But that changed when I began to take RiSoTriene. I had my triglycerides checked after about a month and a half, and they had come down 480 points! My cholesterol dropped twenty-five points and I thought it was a mistake and had it checked twice. I still take insulin twice a day, but the RiSoTriene helps my blood sugar level stay stable so I don't feel like I'm on a roller coaster all day. Now I have a lot more energy and I can go all day without having to rest. “
J. Arambula states, “For the last 14 years, my mother, who is 86 years old, had been injecting insulin for diabetes and had taken up to seven types of pills and capsules for high blood pressure, excess water in her system, weak heart, cardiovascular problems, headaches, body pains, Parkinson’s disease, hemorrhoids, and frequent urinary tract infections. ...to make the story short, I got mom on RiSoTriene as soon as I got it and within a week, the catheter was removed and she was off all medication except for her nitroglycerin patch, which the doctor wants her to continue using. Her blood sugar, blood pressure, body temperature, and pulse remain normal to this date.”
Dieter Daubeter says, “I would like to share with you my experience with the Risotriene. I have diabetes and hypoglycemia. Prior to Risotriene I had to eat every 3 hours, all day and all night. Within a few days after taking Risotriene, I could go without food from 6:00 p.m. in the evening until 8:00 AM in the morning. That was like a miracle for me.
Also, my typical hypoglycemic symptoms, such as headaches, shakiness, weakness, brain fog, etc., were 80 to 90% reduced. My blood sugar level is coming down. My latest reading was 150/90. That's considered normal for my age, 63 1/2 years young.
P.S. I love the taste of Risotriene. Please feel free to use this information with others who may have the same problems.”
Judy St. John says "I have been an insulin dependent Type I diabetic for over seventeen (17) years. My diabetes has affected my eyes and kidneys, and has caused critical circulatory problems. My hospital admissions and extended stays are numerous. I have had most of my toes amputated and have constant problems with open sores (ulcerations) on my feet and ankles. The morning of the first day I added RiSoTriene (stabilized Rice Bran concentrate) to my diet (February 28, 1997) I also took my insulin shot (15 units twice a day) as usual. I began to feel extremely weak, almost as if I was having an insulin reaction. My blood sugar had dropped to 37. It did not occur to me my blood sugar may already be stabilized. Again the next day I took both my insulin and the RiSoTriene and my blood sugar was 45. I was taking the RiSoTriene one scoop in the morning and one scoop in the evening. The third day I decided not to take my insulin and now, six months have passed with no insulin injections. I monitor my blood sugar several times a day. My blood sugar has stayed at approximately 120. I feel fine and my energy level seems to have increased which is wonderful. My doctor is aware of what I am doing (or more correctly what I am not doing) and has a blood work up done on me every two weeks. He has been pleased with my blood glucose numbers: last reading, 92, and A1C is excellent. Blood pressure was 180/104, now 132/73. My nephrologist is impressed and I've lost 20 pounds in the last two months, he thinks I may be losing a bit too fast. I don't think so! Recently I began taking the new Collastin product and after only 6 days the swelling in my feet and ankles was gone. I think anyone who wants optimum health owes it to themselves to make RiSoTriene and Collastin a part of their daily diet. It pleases me beyond words that there is a 100% natural product and I am extremely excited about the results. If RisoTriene and Collastin had been available 20 years ago I may have avoided many of my health problems. By the way, my husband, Doug's cholesterol was 205 and is now 154 thanks to Risotriene"
D. E., Dallas, TX says “I had my first checkup since my diabetes diagnosis and the doctor was amazed at how fast I controlled my blood sugar. My first week's average was about 350 with highs of nearly 400 and lows only down to about 220. Before I received the Risotriene and the Kona minerals the average had declined to about 165 (still with highs in the 300s)--better but not good enough. I received my shipment late in the day on October 10 and immediately started taking it. Every day since then my daily average blood sugar has been between 95 and 100--right where it ought to be. Highs rarely go above 170 (and this occurs only after eating) and I have had lows of 71. This has been achieved with only three significant changes: no foods with sugar, no white bread, and taking the supplements. Otherwise I eat what I have always eaten, in the amounts I have always eaten. Additionally, when checking blood sugar one and two hours after meals it stays within the limits for normal people set by the ADA.
Needless to say I am pleased now that I have it under control.
V.B., Riverside, CA states I couldn’t get my sugars to stay consistently below 200 even with medication. My eyes were having trouble. I couldn’t sleep well nor think clearly and my energy was bad. In less than one week, RiSoTriene brought my sugars down to between 100 to 120. Now, the only time my sugars are off is when I forget to eat my RiSoTriene. By the way, the Essential-7works to since it has RiSoTriene in it.
James Nielsen, UT, a Type I diabetic states that Essential-7immediately brought his energy levels up... but that for three months his insulin requirements remained unchanged... then suddenly at the third month he found that his normal amount of injected insulin was making his sugar levels go too low. So, he reduced the amount of regular insulin he injected by 1 unit each time. He went from 3 at breakfast to 2 and 2 at lunch to 1 and 2 at dinner to only 1. He continued to take 25 units of nph insulin each morning. He is very pleased at being able to take less insulin and having much higher and stable energy levels.
Hank Heister's, Nutritionist, comments about this testimonial: The insulin resistance problem that occurs with most diabetics, type 1 or type II, responds well to RiSoTriene or Essential-7 (presumably because of the large amounts of B-Vitamins and Antioxidants). It just takes time to retrain cells. Blood cells typically change over every three months, which is the exact timing in this example.
Even more important, however, James has suffered nerve damage to his eyes because of the diabetes. His eye doctor and a specialist told him that the nerve damage was irreversible. James took six scoops a day of the Essential-7. After one year, he has a checkup and was told that the nerve damage was 100% reverse and that his eyesight was perfect. Also, James, who had been underweight, is now at his perfect weight.
Melissa Heaps, UT (16 years old), a brittle, type I diabetic since early childhood finds that RiSoTriene and Essential-7 help keep her blood sugar stable with the large swings that used to make her life miserable.
Carol B says “About 35 years ago my dad was diagnosed with having diabetes and diabetic neuropathy. Over the years his diabetes has caused significant damage to his legs, and he also has had pain in his hands and weakness in his eye lids. Furthermore, he has lost circulation in both legs, which has resulted in loss of feeling in both of his feet and ankles. And the pain has been excruciating!
At one time he had such a large ulcerated wound on his upper ankle that the doctor was forced to perform a skin graft. With the help of compression boots his wounds slowly healed but then without the boots the wounds would soon return. And the boots did nothing to ease the pain. At the first part of 2002, one of the wounds became infected with Staph. Bacteria and he was placed on an antibiotic for a few months along with a very strong pain killer. His situation was critical and he was now within 6 months of being a candidate for amputation of both his legs from the knees down. Even with the medication and boots the wounds did not heal and his legs became a deep reddish-purple -- with purple toes – that had the look and texture of beef jerky (if you can imagine). It was awful!
He has held his own over the last few years, but recently had gone down hill very fast. At that time, we began to research alternatives and had him start taking several isolated vitamins and minerals for diabetics with limited success -- of course there was no doctor we could find that could help us with this kind of treatment, so we tried various things on our own, trying to make sense of what might work.
Then, my friend received a paper on diabetes from a member of your company and it was the article about the stabilization of blood sugar that fascinated her. She decided to try it for nutritional value and thought it could help my dad. He had nothing to lose and all to gain by trying it. He was falling fast.
In February of 2002 he started taking your RiSoTriene products. He took it now and then when he remembered, not realizing the importance of how to take it. I talked to one of your company representatives and told her my dad’s situation and she said he must take it very aggressively and comply with the dosage schedule. He agreed to do this and at the next visit to his doctor in April his legs had improved (without the boots) and now he only wears the compression stockings. The doctor has now released him, his skin color is returning, feeling is returning to his legs and feet, and he has no more sores and is getting around much better. After complying completely with the program my dad is much more alert and does not have the pain that plagued him. My dad and I were even able to go camping in August of this year, and because he has no more sores, he was able to swim in the pool and enjoy other activities that he enjoys. What a wonderful improvement in qualify of life. We can continue to see improvements each and every day and will never be without RiSoTriene. Thank you so much.
Kay Eichner says, “In 2000 I was placed on Avandia, an oral diabetic drug, while taking 300-400 units of insulin a day. This caused CHF(congestive heart failure) and lymphedema in both of my legs. Besides being diabetic I also had hypertension and on medication for this since 1993, morbidly obese (highest weight about 400 pounds), psoriasis, asthma, sleep apnea (on BI-pap) and was unable to lie down to sleep from 2000 until 2005 and on oxygen almost 24/7. I had a PCP, cardiologist, 2 pulmonologists, and a vascular surgeon. I began polumanary rehab in January 2004. I had begun looking for alternative and nutritional help in 2001 as everything was getting worse and many of my doctors told me there was nothing they could do to help me. I had worked as an RN since 1979. I also am a woman of strong faith and refused to listen to the bad reports. I knew God had already provided the answers I sought. I did a lot to clean up my diet, not eating processed "food" and lost about 60 pounds on my own. I first used RiSoTriene in 2004 but due to fixed income could not continue. Then in February I began using Essential-7. Since that time I have gone from 339 to 259. I am no longer taking insulin or blood pressure medication or any other medications. My cardiologist told me in March I did not need to return. My other doctors are speechless. The only doctor that knows that I am taking Essential-7 is my holistic chiropractor. He was so impressed with my return to health he has started taking Essential-7 too. I no longer need oxygen except at night with my BI-pap which I can get by without it without problems. I can now walk for 30 minutes at 3 MPH on the treadmill at rehab. I can do many things I have not been able to do in well over 10 years. Even though I still have 125 pounds to lose, I have gone from a 5x to a 1x. I thank God for Healthy-Living, Essential-7, and all the wonderful new family and friends I have found.“
Doug C says “My blood sugar was running about 400 and my A1C about 11 despite medication... in three weeks of taking Essential-7these numbers have come down to between 120 and 100 and and 6.3 respectively. Also, I have dropped my insulin dosage by 2 units.”
